Fentanyl Awareness Campaign

 

Fentanyl poisoning has become an increasing part of the growing opioid epidemic. People are dying every day from street drugs made to look like Xanax®, Percocet®, or oxycodone because they don't know it's been laced with fentanyl.

 

My team and I partnered with Sacramento County's Substance Use Prevention & Treatment, Department of Health Services in developing this campaign to educate and bring awareness to this growing part of the opioid epidemic. The campaign of billboards and transit ads throughout Sacramento County and across social channels showcases how this issue affects all of us.

 

The campaign succeeded, reaching 559,800 people with 412,000 impressions, 32,000 engagements, and an overall engagement rate of 7.8%. We achieved a remarkable 1200% increase in the client's social media audience.
